Fast And Easy Tokyo Disney

Tokyo Disneyland Japan
Getting There Fast And Easy

After years of answering questions about Disneyland Japan, I've put up this FREE Tokyo Disneyland Guide answering these questions in detail.
How to get to Disneyland Japan without knowing any Japanese?
Yes, there's a way, and this page takes you through...

Arriving straight from the Airport?
Here's how to do it…

Getting To Disneyland Japan From Narita Airport

Tokyo Disneyland Monorail
If you decide to come straight from Narita airport – there is a Limo Bus that runs frequently, and will take you straight to Tokyo Disney Resort.

Tickets for the Limo bus can be bought at the counter which is right after you pick your luggage.

The buses drive straight to Tokyo Disney and take about 60 minutes to arrive there.
The other option is to stay in one of Tokyo Hotels and take the train to Disneyland Tokyo.
Luckily Disneyland Japan is 20 min from Tokyo Station.
If you'd like to stay for a few nights at the Tokyo Disney Resort itself,Tokyo Disneyland Hotels are a good option.

From Tokyo City To Tokyo Disneyland

Commuting to Tokyo Disney Resort is easy. You'll find a train at Tokyo Station.

The line that goes to Tokyo Disneyland is the JR Keiyo Line elevated train.
The Keiyo line starts at Tokyo Station. Trains are frequent and on time.
Keiyo line's platform is a very long walk inside the station.

Maihama is the stop that serves Tokyo Disney Resort.
From JR Tokyo Station, you can take pretty much any Keiyo Line since they all stop at Maihama Station.
If you take a 'Local' train, Maihama will be the sixth stop, if you take a 'Rapid' train, it will be the third stop.

From Tokyo Station, it's about 20 minutes ride to Maihama Station (more or less, depending on whether you get on a 'local' or a 'rapid' train).

In order to ride the JR Keiyo Line you need a JR ticket.
If you don't already have one, buy it from the ticket vending machines before entering the Keiyo Line.
There is a button in the upper right corner of the ticket vending machines screens that gives the 'English' option. That will make the machines switch languages.

To enter the gate for the Keiyo Line - Swipe the card over the card reader on the gate, which is indicated by a blue light.

Usually there will be lots of families and school kids on the train, all getting off at Maihama. That will be a good sign if you're feeling unsure as to where the stop is.

On the way back just make sure you're getting on a train going to Tokyo Station. It's the last stop, so you can't go wrong there.

Maihama Station is safe and clean, like all other subway stations here.
Maihama Station has locker facilities. If all are taken, try the lockers at the Ikspiari Mall at the entrance to Tokyo Disney Resort.

Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo Disney Sea have lockers too, but they tend to fill up very early in the day.
